This notice covers NoseAhead’s website. For questions about how personal information is handled, or to exercise your rights, contact the NoseAhead operator at info@noseahead.com.
It does not cover bookmakers or social platforms you visit separately. Their privacy notices apply to their services.
Information we use
- Connection and security information: our hosting infrastructure processes information such as IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser and device headers, response codes and error information to deliver and protect the site.
- Messages you send: if you email us, we receive your email address, the name you provide, message content and any attachments.
- Temporary page state: the calculator value and loaded tips are kept in memory while you use the page. We do not intentionally persist them in cookies or browser storage.
- Display preferences: when you change the odds format or currency in Settings, we save those choices in local storage on your device. They are not sent to our tips feed or linked to an account. You can change them in Settings or remove them by clearing this site’s browser data.
There is currently no account registration, checkout, payment-card collection or personal betting-account connection on this site. We do not receive the bets you place with a bookmaker. Please avoid sending financial, health or identity information that is not needed to answer your enquiry.
Purposes and legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in providing a reliable website, preventing abuse, diagnosing faults and responding to enquiries. We limit this processing to what is reasonably necessary and balance it against your rights.
We may also process information where necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. If we later offer optional marketing or tracking that requires consent, we will ask separately. Visiting the site or emailing us does not subscribe you to marketing.
We do not sell personal information, use it to target gambling advertising, or make solely automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. The public tips are not personalised using a visitor profile.
Hosting and other recipients
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and provides network protection and operational logging. It processes technical request information as part of those services. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing of network and security information.
Our email provider processes correspondence sent to our contact address. Service providers receive information needed for the work they perform. We may disclose relevant information to advisers, courts or authorities when legally required or necessary to protect rights and investigate abuse.
The website retrieves racing information through our server. Your calculator amount is not included in that request. Hosting providers still process the connection information needed to deliver the site.
International processing
Cloudflare’s network and other service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area or the UK. Where international-transfer rules apply, an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards are required. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data; provider information is also available in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Retention and security
Temporary calculator state is not kept as a visitor record. Technical logs are retained according to the infrastructure’s retention settings and the time needed to investigate faults or abuse. Enquiries are kept for the time needed to respond, resolve follow-up issues and meet any applicable legal obligations. Information needed for an active dispute or security investigation may be kept for its duration and any legally required period.
We consider the purpose, sensitivity, legal obligations and whether a less detailed record would suffice when deciding retention. You can ask us about the retention that applies to a particular enquiry.
We use access restrictions and encrypted transport where supported. No internet service or email channel can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions.
Email info@noseahead.com to make a request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that a request is yours, and will respond within the applicable legal time limit. You do not have to create an account or disclose betting activity to make a request.
